Welcome to the New Blog!

Hi everybody.
I am Kinsey, and I am here with Dr Zoe. We are having a blast designing the new blog.
A sudden knock on the door jolted us out of our juvenile folly and back into reality. I quickly remembered that I had an appointment with the newly-retired Lady Sparkle to help find her a home. "Come in, and welcome." I said.
Lady Sparkle lives up to her name. She is bigger that life itself. "Helllooo Kinsey!!!!! So good to see you again my friend," beamed Lady Sparkle. "Last time I saw you was on our ski trip. Oh my heavens above, THAT was a very chilly trip. Not sure if my old bones like the cold anymore."

Lady Sparkle embraced me with a big bear hug that almost squeezed the breath of life out of me.
I inhaled deeply to re-inflate my lungs and I introduced her to Dr Zoe.

I explained to Lady Sparkle that we were making a new blog, and that she would be making a cameo appearance in the first entry. Suddenly Lady Sparkle became all self conscious. "I never realized that I was going to be photographed. Maybe I should have . . "

"Oh Lady Sparkle, you look fantastic," I interjected. "We are very relaxed around here. Life is all about family and friendships."
"Oh, that is so good to hear. Life as a costume maker and seamstress for the Moulin Rouge was constantly about looks and presentation. Being able to relax and let my hair down will be a big relief – well, maybe I will keep the big hair," she said. We all laughed.

And from all of us, thanks for joining and see you all soon.
Cheerio.

    1. Hi and welcome! I have been trying to do some research and it seems that Blogger has changed the way people follow new blogs. Somehow it will not allow anyone to use their old blogger profile but only their Google one. (If anyone knows how to get the old system back I am very interested!)

  2. Hi Sam,
Good to see Kinsey doing such a great job of the new blog. I didn't bother with the follow bit because I have added it to my reading list in my side bar, so I won't miss any posts. :)
    Big hugs to you all,
    X

  3. Great new little blog! Your tinies are so lovely. Are you still goingto be keeping the other blog?
Blogger has really messed up their system. Sometimes I wish they wouldn't do all these new improvements.

    1. Thank you so much. I will keep the other blog up for now. Blogger is making me crazy, the improvements are usually worse every time they mess with it.

  5. I headed right on over here to see your new blog. Very nice. I just copy and paste your blogs URL into the Blogs I follow list on my profile. That way, I am able to also follow blogs hosted by other blog services too. Look forward to following you too!

  6. Like Betsy I was also surprised to learn that Google did once more changes to the Follower gadget that are not improving anything. But okay... maybe there having fun at the Google headquarter when brainstorming about stuff like this... *grin* - Congrats to starting a new blog... and how nice to have such a lovely guest for the first post!

    Hugs

    1. Thanks. Yes, I have had my fair share of annoyances with Google this year. Every time they make improvements, it seems like we suffer!

  7. Love the new blog (and the old one, too!) My own resident Time Lord (Lady?), the Lady Madrigal Baker, said she'll keep an eye out for Isabelle and the Doctor. She knows all too well how he gets sidetracked sometimes.

    1. Thank you so much, and thank you to Lady Madrigal for looking out for Isabelle. Yes, that Doctor gets into some interesting situations pretty frequently.
